WeCreat 40W Laser ~ Judith L. Davis

Today I was able to set up my new laser. I ordered a new heavy-duty table for it to go on and was waiting for that. I have a brand new WeCreat 40W laser engraver and cutter.

Now that I just took this out of the box, I really can’t answer any technical questions, except for my actual purchase.

I did order this through Amazon. But the customer service through WeCreat has been phenomenal! Out of the 4 boxes it was shipped in, I have only received 3. Now this is on UPS, not on them, but they have been wonderful to work with through this. The missing part is the IR laser, so I can still use the diode laser while they figure the rest out.

Throughout the past year, I have learned a lot about lasers. I have a small Glowforge Aura, which I love! But I quickly outgrew that. It is only an 8W diode laser. I debated getting the CO2 laser, but could not justify the cost for just clear acrylic. This machine at this price point is 5 times stronger and faster than my small Aura. I opted for the IR laser model. With that, I will be able to engrave jewelry and the like.

I am so excited to start showing you all the projects with this! I have so many great projects that I wanna try out!

Pictured below is the actual laser on my new table. The second photo are the things I have created in just one afternoon. This thing is so fast! There is a learning curve but not bad and I was able to do this all within minutes of set up!
