And so it begins … 2026

At the beginning of every year, I promise myself I will be faithful to this blog, but by February, my bright-shiny-object syndrome has kicked in.  And here we are again. We are days away from a shiny new year. 2026 starts on Thursday!

I am once again amazed at how quickly the year passed. 2025 may have been a challenging year for many, but for us, it wasn’t difficult, as it was just old-fashioned chaotic.

Every year, I make it a resolution, i.e., a goal, to do better with this blog. To make it something people will come to and read. This year I am going to approach it differently.

I love to journal. I have a junk journal where bits and bobs from my life make their way. I am not going to turn this into a junk journal, but I am going to turn it into a roadway to my endeavors this year. I have so many ideas spinning around in my head! This is where I will put those ideas!

2026 is getting us closer to our goals, and maybe, just maybe, using this blog as more of a journal to make notes and put ideas will help us to get closer to making those goals a reality!

So here is to 2026! May blogging live forever! Here is to goal creating and reaching this year!
