You see about me pages everywhere. It seems every site has one about the web owner.

They serve a great purpose. They let you get to know the person that is behind the scenes so to say. If it is a good page it may include a nice picture so you get to see the person.

Doing business with people online is sometimes hard. We have never met some of the people that we have daily dealings with. Having a picture and knowing a little about them is a great business tool. Let your client know about you. Let those that you have daily dealings with have a little peak inside your life.

Now let me tell you a bit about me.

Who I am

As you have assumed my name is Judith L. Davis. Most people call me Judi. Yes, that is spelled with an “i” instead of the traditional “y”. I like being different. I like my name; I like the shortened version of it. It took me many years to say that.

Where I am From

I grew up on the border of Pennsylvania and New York. I lived in the country. We had a big garden. I spent summers helping my mom and grandmother put up fruits and vegetables. Some summers I spent helping my aunt and uncle at their dairy farm. Things were done simply when I was growing up. I like to tell people my dad had us sorting recyclables before it was the thing to do. I remember as a kid saving tin cans and newspapers in separate bins for dad to take away to recycle.

Where I have Been

I have spent my adult life all over the world. I joined the army when I was 18 and they gave me a ticket to Germany. I have been to Europe and all over the states. Along the way I was blessed with four wonderful kids. All were born in different states depending on where we were stationed at the time.

What I have Learned

A decade or so ago I turned in my uniform for a chance to stay at home with my kids and home school. I also started back at my education. It has been a long journey, but I am proud to say I graduated with honors from Australasian College of Health Sciences. I have taken several tracks with them to include Nutrition and Body Care, certification in Aromatherapy and am now a Holistic Health Counselor. I enjoy the natural course of study and my desire is to teach people that they can lead a healthier life. I do this through classes and through my writing.

Where I am

My kids and I now live a quiet life in Wisconsin. We are enjoying turning our house into a green environment. The great outdoors is still one of my loves. Gardening and hiking rank high in my list of things to do. The winter months will find me on the ski slopes.
