Paying it Forward - my thoughts

Several things in the past few weeks have made me stop and think.

Recently I have been blessed when I spoke up and kind of asked for something. Most people out there are amazingly giving. This morning I turned on the news to see that Rush Limbaugh had given a women caller in Kerrville, TX a car. Now while I or this women didn’t directly come out and ask for something, we did speak up and say something. I have posted about Trevor Crook and how he blessed me with an opportunity to take his Persuasive Writing Sells Course.

But last night I was amazed at a couple of things.

I offered on Facebook to write 3 articles for anyone who commented on my note. I got one reply. Now either that says something about my writing, or it says that people don’t read notes, or that they didn’t beleive I would give it away, or a combination of all of those.

Now granted, not everyone needs articles. But on my facebook list there are a ton of internet marketers trying to get ahead. These are the people who are always saying they want articles. That it is the content that runs their sites and gets there traffic. Well guys if you want there are still two more free articles out there to grab! (update there is now just one left)

My point is this. There are great people out there willing to help. They may not just buy you a $58,000 car, but I am willing to bet, if you are willing to ask, or take them up on a great offer, that they are willing to help you out in ways that you will both benefit!

My last little notice? If you are not friends on facebook with Trevor Crook, I would run, not walk and make friends. He is offering  20 lucky facebook friends 1 on 1 mentoring. There was still spaces open as I write this. Are people crazy? Someone offers you help and you don’t take it?

Offer of yourself. Offer of your knowledge and what you have learned. You may think you have nothing to give, but you would be surprised at what you have that others may need.

And on another note, remember you don’t get anything if you don’t speak up. No one is even going to notice you if you sit in the corner. If you have a need ask around. You never know who will step up to the plate to help you out.

The one thing in this life that we need to remember is that we get what we put into in it. Giving of ourselves is a way of returning the favors that we have received. You are going to be receiving many more favors in the future, I am SURE of it, so why not start now at paying it forward?
