What do you do with your Sundays?

Sunday is a quiet time in my house. I enjoy that. There is no school work. No one has to be any where. It is laid back and oh so quiet.

I enjoy Sundays. Especially Sunday mornings. I use it to get caught up on my writing projects. I know I probably shouldn’t work on the weekends, but if there was ever a good time to write it is when everyone is someplace else doing something else, besides bugging me.

Even my email and twitter are quiet. I can sit here in my office, with my radio quiet. I can think. Which really helps with many projects, believe me.

First I enjoy my coffee and read Post Secret. This has to be one of my all time favorite websites. I have even considered buying the books. After that it is time to get down to serious writing. It is only 11 right now and I have 4 articles in the bag. Try that on any other day and I will come up short.

I love my Sunday mornings! What do you do?

PS In reply to Hipchick’s Spurs comment. Love them all, but you KNOW Tim is the most taken for granted player in the NBA!  I love Shaq as well, do you know he went to High School in San Antonio? Ft Sam Houston to be exact, but still cheering on my SPURS!!!!!!

Go Spurs Go

If you have hung around here long enough, you know that I am a Spurs fan.

Now they aren’t the most popular team in the league. LA, Miami and even Detroit has a bigger fan base, but … we are THE best team out there! Look at the championship banners on the wall! We are a team with heart, and there is no fan like the San Antonio Spurs fan!

I moved away over 7 years ago and I still cheer for them. And no matter where I go I will be a Spurs fan!

We wear black and silver and chant GO Spurs GO!

Our team players don’t make the headlines for doing drugs or cheating on their wives. Though I will admit Tony Parker did make a splash. He is married to one of the best actress in Hollywood, Eva Longoria of Desperate Housewives.

No matter who you are cheering for, it’s playoffs! Be happy! Cheer your team on! I know I am glued to every playoff game!

And did you see??? Tim Duncan made a 3 pt shot that put us into double overtime!!! GO Spurs GO!!!!

decisions, decisions

With a new year comes a lot of changes in our lives.

We are leaving Georgia. While this may be just what we wanted it will not be an easy move. The girls, second son and I are moving to a great northern state.  And not the one that I came from to start with. This is why it’s a bit hard for us. It will be like starting over for us.

While we are excited, there is a lot of scary there too. Leaving friends, family and dear loved ones behind. But I really think that it is for the best. And while it will be hard, it is doable.

So expect a lot of changes here there and everywhere.

I guess this makes it official, once I put it in writing. Wow that is kind of a big relief. Now who wants to come pack with me, while we wipe the dust of Ft Stewart, GA off of us?
