A Book Review

I am an avid reader.  I recently got to read a book written by an old friend.  The Wolf’s Torment can be bought on Amazon or IUniverse

The Wolf’s Torment by SG Cardin

This past weekend I was taken away to Moldavia.  The Wolf’s Torment had me from the beginning to the end.  A book set in Romania in the 1800 during a time of political change.  It is a region of the world still hanging on to old mystics.  But wanting to merge with the modern world.  With the taint of witches, gypsies, vampires and werewolves how do they over come.

Mihai, the hero, struggles with coming of age, becoming a husband, father and king.  The prologue tell us of how he lost his mother and we learn from the very beginning how strong he is. We learn to love the man he is trying to become, for himself, his parents, his wife and his country.

Theresa, Mihai’s arranged marriage, struggles with her own set of torments.  She must deal with her husband coping with his life as well as the consequences of his past.  There are also secrets to her past that she will try to unravel.

Viktor’s journey is the one of the wolf.  He is Mihai best friend and boarding school comrade.  His transformation after the bite of a werewolf is one that rivets the reader.  It will keep you wondering what will happen next.  He struggles with the man he is and the werewolf he becomes every full moon.  This affects all that know him.  You keep reading to know if he will overcome all his torments.

The Wolf’s Torment is definitely a page turner.  You do not want to put it down.  It is one of those stories that is written with the skill that will pull you in.  S.G. Cardin draws you into the surroundings and to the characters lives.  She spins an excellent tale that leaves you feeling like you are actually in the 1800s in Moldavia.  Definitely a good read.  It is a book that I highly recommend.

Two New Articles posted on my website!

See my website is growing. I wrote these two last week. Take a look at The Power of 15 Minutes to a More Organized House and The Power to Throw Things Away - The Way to a More Organized House I guess I was writing in a theme there. Seems we all want the perfect house. But there are just somethings that hold us back. Hope you enjoy the articles. Let me know what you think!

Monday Morning and things are going swimingly

Is swimingly a word? Really? I love the sound of it, but I have to wonder. But I like it so I will continue to use it! Stubborn that way aren’t I?

Well I have two new articles on my website. If you are interested the first one is a general article on Health Insurance for us WAHM This is something all of us that work at home need to look into. I hope to write a more indepth article in the near future. The second one is an article on Pay Per Click. I know the first few hundred times I head this term I was left scratching my head. Hopefully that will help clear up any questions you have. Both of these articles are written by me. They are general articles, but should give you an idea. I will be adding more as time goes along.

Tomorrow I will be getting more soap supplies. Yeah! This weekend I am giving a neighbor a soap making class. I would like to add that to my new soapofcourse.com website. As well as selling soap I would like to be informative. There is a lot of questions people have about soap. I get them all the time. The number one being, “Do you use lye?” Lye is not the even thing that people often think it is. That is one of the first questions I need to address.

Well I am off. I think I shall sit down and write out my goals for this week. And then post them on Mom Masterminds. I love this mentor/coaching program. They are helping me so much. Helping me to get focused and set my goals.

Have a great day! I am working on the newsletter so make sure you are signed up for that!
