Odds and Ends

What a week this has been. I have a deadline early tomorrow morning so I have been busting my chops writing for that. But it is for a great project and I am getting to write on topics that I love, so it has been great fun.

I had a lovely opportunity to talk to Marie Ynami yesterday on Women and Nutrition for Celebrating Women’s Day. Finally my education is starting to pay off! I love this topic and think it is so important to all women. So take a listen if you get a chance. And if you ever have any nutrition questions drop me a line! If I don’t know the answer I will find it for you. One great thing about the school I attended, even after you graduate you have access to the instructors and their huge reference library.

Lastly I was lucky enough to purchase a great site last week. I am so excited! Natural From Home. This is right up my alley. And to top it off the woman who sold it to me, has agreed to stay on and write. LaTara is a woman who knows her stuff and I am so excited to be working with her on this. I have some great ideas for articles and info on aromatherapy in the home, how to make natural cleaning products, product reviews on these new natural cleaning products that have hit the market, and don’t even get me started on the natural body care articles. My list is over flowing! So expect great things from this site in the future.

Then to top it off we are getting ready for a yard sale and cleaning up our conversion van to sell. Anyone want a ‘97 Ford Conversion van? It’s pretty red :) and smells like carpet cleaner at the moment. The kids found my Ipod charger under a seat in the back, haven’t seen that for a few years! Goodness guess I should of cleaned it out earlier!

And all this is buzzing around my head I still am feeling very motivated and ready to write! I have even been trying to work on my work of fiction! Funny how that works isn’t it? You get busy and you get even more motivated and produce even more. My mother says I work better under deadlines!

Have a great Thursday!!!

What’s what?

I am inspired this morning, just wait and see!

First a little background.

I purchased this domain (judithldavis.com) as a site for my writing. Some of you know I am an aspiring writer. I know hard to believe. Well I have taken it back as such. Be prepared.

I am going to make a go of this writing thing, honest.

Does the sight of a white screen waiting to have words written on it, give you the depressed sighs? Is your website in need of content, but writing articles is just not what you enjoy doing?

Then maybe you need a ghostwriter! and yes that is what I am going to do. I am a writer. I love to write. A blank screen does not intimidate me, for soon it is full of words, thoughts and the best thing of all content!

I have found research is the key to great content. Here on the internet content is king!

I am going to be offering articles at $10 for 250 to 500 words. I will be putting together some PLR packets this week. 10 articles for $15. These PLR packets will only be sold to a set number and then will no longer be available. Have a topic you want tackled? Let me know!

Right now I am working on making the main page of this website for my writing. Can’t wait? Well then feel free to email me. Are you interest in seeing examples of my work? There is my Associate Content articles (look in the left hand column for titles) I do have more, and they will be posted, feel free to ask.

I will let you all know when the site is up and ready to go. Until then, wish me luck and if you need any “Written Word Services” let me know!

Private Label Rights – Good for What Ails Your Blog

Your blog is a wonderful communication and marketing tool that can help you get more acquainted with your target market, and them with you. It can help you produce more sales for your products, solve customer service problems before they start, and even help you earn more affiliate commissions. Many online business owners start a blog and it quickly becomes sick with a disease we refer to as:

Blog Laryngitis

Blog laryngitis sufferers have the following symptoms: Not knowing what to blog about, having trouble speaking to their target market, and too few blog posts (a blog that is too quiet). If your blog is suffering from laryngitis, it can’t really benefit your business much. Take heart - there is a cure for this condition, and it’s called Private Label Rights (PLR) content.

PLR is ghostwritten content that you can purchase inexpensively for use in your business, including publishing on your blog. While you can’t claim authorship of the content, it can still keep your blog healthy in several ways.

For instance, you can grab a PLR article (or even just a paragraph or two to spark a blog post), edit it to give it your voice, and hit the publish button to get the conversation going again.

You can also split up an article, or more than one, into bullet points and add a “Tip of the Day” or Week to your blog. This keeps your readers coming back for more.

Publishing recipes is also fun and interactive. Who doesn’t love a good recipe? Or what about product reviews? We all need a little help navigating the marketplace. Adding relevant product reviews on your blog can increase your affiliate commissions and make you a trusted source of good information.

Your blog can speak for you and help you grow your online presence if it’s frequently updated and making a difference in the online conversation. If you need help making this happen, consider PLR.

Carrie Lauth and Tiffany Washko have the remedy for you at Natural Mom PLR, the net’s only PLR membership site for all natural moms and those who market to them. It includes high quality articles, natural product reviews and healthy recipes delivered to you each and every month, for less than you might pay for one ghostwritten article.
