Who do you follow?

Every morning my inbox is full of email from all sorts of marketers and gurus. Telling me all sorts of cool things to do and buy to make a success of myself online. I guess some where along the line I have signed up for their emails, gotten one of their products or well just something.

They are all great advice, but I am feeling just a bit overwelmed at the moment.

Its like this…

I have one brain. Most of the time it is pretty focused on one path. Now I have so many people telling me about all these great paths that I feel confused, disheartened and like giving up.

Brain over load.

I have made my New Years Resolution. Besides losing a couple dozen pounds, this is going to be the year for ME!

I get entirely to much email from to many gurus. If I could just narrow it down I think I would be a lot better off. It would help me to find more focus. And focus is definitely what I need. Esecially to accomplish my goals for 2008!

So the question is this. If you could follow only one guru to help you meet your goals, who would it be? Who has helped you the most?

Why just one? well because there are so many out there, I can’t follow everyone. And if everyone gives me one, what are the chances that the one you give me is the same as the one the neighbor gave me? Asking for your favorite gives me a good idea of who has the most value.

The art of putting yourself out there

Many WAHMs and SAHMs have comfort zones. They are comfortable within their circle of friends. It is hard to go beyond the circle of friends and activities that they are used to and are used to.

Having a sucessful business (online and off) requires that we put ourselves out there. Networking with possible clients and other WAHMs. For many this is a hard thing to do. We have to learn to go beyond our comfort zone.

Networking with other SAHM and WAHM may give us the social satisfaction that we need. But often times to turn our business into a profitable enterprize we have to network with our customers. The people we would like to sell to. And unless this is the WAHM or SAHM market we have to go out and “mingle”.

Message boards and email list are a great way of doing this. Joining them in conversation and establishing yourself as an expert in that feild will help your business. But I have to admit, it is a bit intimidating.

For some it is easy, they jump on a message board and immediately start chatting and sharing ideas and information. For others it may take a bit.

Make it a daily goal. Go by baby steps. Maybe the first day your goal will be to find one message board for your target market and introduce yourself. The next day to participate in one conversataion. Slowly build on those goals until you start to feel comfortable in that social circle.

Keep in mind that you don’t have to do it all in one day. Go slowly, get to know others and work on participating on a message board, not just advertising. Share your knowledge and experiences. Let people get to know you and what you have to offer.

Christmas is right around the corner

The last payday before the holiday has come and gone for many. If you are a last minute shopper living from paycheck to paycheck you may be wondering what to do.

Payday loan can be of great help when used wisely. Be sure to never borrow more than you can payback the following payday. Interest and fees will start adding up if you don’t. Use a loan calculator to help you decide if what to borrow. There is one on Payday loans site.

Be sure to read the fine print. Ensure you know all the fees and interest rates, before you sign, receive your loan and go out Christmas shopping. What we spend today, must be paid back tomorrow.

Start thinking about next Christmas now. It is never to early to start to save!
