Let’s talk file sharing

Ever want to share a huge file with someone? Takes forever to do it on email and often times out. Forget sending it through IM chats, that takes even longer. A new solution out there is Driveway. And no I don’t mean where you park your car. Send large files on the internet using Driveway.com. There motto is size really does matter. and I guess it doesn’t, cause you can send files up to 500 MB Max For Each Upload, Unlimited Total Storage, No Download Limits. That is way to cool!

My friend and I have been trying this out. It is very simple and you don’t even need to register. Sending large files can be enhanced on most popular emails, such as yahoo, hotmail and google.

One of the features I really liked is you can add widgets to your website. This means you have a large file you want your website visitors to be able to download you can add a widget and all they need to do is click on it! I need to find something to try this out!

Go to Driveway.com and try this out for yourself. I am sure you will have fun and find it very useful to boot!

The Home School Year has Begun!

This is my son’s senoir year of high school. Ain’t that grand? My neice is also graduating from high school, as well as my best friends daughter. It is going to be a busy school year!

Zach is taking Pre-Calculus, Physics, Spanish, English and Economics. Ok did everyones stomach roll over on that account? Goodness. I am not sure I will have time to breathe let alone write, work and blog! It may though lead to some great blogs and articles on organization, time management and how to survive calculus!

The girls are still in grade school so I hope I have them under control. Marilyn is so easy. She LOVES hers on the computer! And the planning and scheduling is all done for me. All I need to do is go in daily and check her work and see what she is supposed to do for the next day. Chels? Well I am going to have to work on that one. I need to sit down and find a good planning and grade keeper. Her reading has improved, but other things need lots of work.

Add to that I am helping Zach watch the neighbors in the afternoon.

Do I really need to sleep? I mean really? Maybe sleep really is overrated?

OK and last but not least … CHECK out TWITTER!!!!

Let’s Go to the Beach!

It’s August here in coastal Georgia. What does that mean? Well heat, humidity and THE BEACH!

I love going to the beach. It is great fun. Pack the kids up for the day and off you go. Sun, fun and sand. Does life get any better than that? I don’t think so. Sticking your toes in the warm sand. Listening to the surf. You can tell I love going to the beach. Looking over that great expanse of water gives you an idea how very large the real world is out there.

But have you seen the beach cruiser? These things are so much fun! Not only are they the bright colors of summer, they come in fun styles and are so much fun to ride! We have seen them on lots of beaches (and yes we have been to a few).

Oh Oh Oh! and the price! $88! Now that fits right in the budget. I personally want the bright pink one. It has flowers on it that will put you right in the beach mood.

Now let me add just a few little side notes here. You don’t have to buy one in the bright colors. They do come in classic black and silver. (but what is the fun in that?) You also don’t have to be at the beach to use these great bikes. They may be made for the beach, but think of what fun you could have just biking around your neighborhood?!

And did I mention what great excersice a beach cruiser is? Think about it. Have fun. Get excercise. Look styling! What great fun!!!!
