Tupperware and life

Today is Thursday and tomorrow follows on Friday. By the way I PROMISE to do a shoutout this week! Scout’s honor! But Friday this week means for me, that I am having a tupperware party. Means I have to clean my house and play social. Well I will get through it. I only invited women in the neighborhood, so it should be ok.

I am also playing around with this audio thing. I do not like the sound of my own voice but this should be ok, well at least I hope that it is. If I can drum up some more visits I may just do it more often :) Yes yes I know … get over it!

On the business end of today’s blog …

Well I am finishing up editing Tranquintity. And I hope to get that up and out by the end of June. As far as everything else, I am brainstorming for ideas. I have been writing for Associated Content as much as I can to fill the gap while NewsStand is hiccuping, but I really really want a business of my own. I have subscribed to Mom Masterminds. If you are a woman who is looking to start her own online business this is really a great program. I am learning a lot! Things I may have learned before, but either have forgotten or didn’t apply. Check them out if you are at all interested!

Stick to it ness

Seems that in the past ten years I have problems finishing things.  I used to be very goal oriented and always finish the projects that I started.  Well in the past ten years that has gone right down the drain.

I cleaned my soap/craft closet yesterday.  I am amazed at the amount of projects in there that were half done.  What’s the deal?  How many half cross stiched projects can one have?  I had boxes where I had started to get organized and you can see where I am half done with organizing.  If that isn’t pitiful I don’t know what is.

Maybe that is why I am so thrilled that my book is actually done.  I started that book over two years ago, but now it is done.  I actually finished something.  I need to be able to apply that to the rest of my life.  I want to be able to finish everything I start. Or at the very least not give up on the projects that I start unless they are real stinkers.

On the writing front I am working on getting it all together.  In writing Tranquintity I did it by chapters, so as I re-read it and fixe errors I am putting it all in one big document.  It is great seeing it all together.  See that is the power of having something finished.

Now I just need to apply that to cleaning my house!

Life is a journey

First off I have a ton of new articles on Associated Content. From Restaurant Reviews to Acai Berries to what to write about so please stop by and read read read, and then comment if you feel so inclined! Judi’s Associated Content Articles. I have been working on this social networking to get more page views and more views. I need to work on it here for my website too. Need to get more people to subscribe to my newsletter so I can get done what I need to get done. I guess I need what is affectionately referred to as a fan base.

Yes you read that right. My book is done! Finished! Over! Wrapped up! And everyone lives happily ever after! I have never been very good at the self promotional bit, but I guess I better get good at it. I know writers don’t often sell their first books, and don’t get me wrong, it still needs a bit of polish, but I would like for some people to read it. Sure would be nice! So I will polish it up, work on a fan base and send it out to a few publishers. And if that doesn’t work I will do a vanity press.

In the meantime I am doing school work and proofreading, well trying to. My grammar and my spelling is improving, though you probably can’t tell from this blog entry lol. Just stick with me and I will make it!

Oh and I wanted to show you this blog! I have to tell you I have the upmost respect for this woman! Working for Financial Independence

Ok I am off to get some work done, clean the soap closet and get some editing and proofreading done! Maybe if I feel ambitious I will get some social networking done too!
